Today is the energy of 13 Aj – the house, the columns that hold everything together. This is the time we can call on our ancestors to bring the strength to stand up for what is right and do the right thing. It is the pillar, tall, and solid. It signifies the greatness and strength of life.
What does stand tall mean?
Looking into the dictionary there are various meanings: to act proudly and confidently; audacious, daring, fearless, gallant, heroic, strong, valiant.
Standing tall is standing upon one’s dignity, rising above, feeling ten feet tall, standing out, and triumphing. It is to behave in a brave, proud manner. It is standing with confidence, and resilience, and standing up for oneself.
A quote: “Boldness is the ability to stand tall even when the valley seems deep.” (facing adversity with courage and maintaining confidence in difficult times)
"In a world full of conformity, stand tall and be brave. Discover the art of being your own hero, of daring to stand alone and forging the path of your own destiny." - This quote encourages individuals to embrace their individuality and be true to themselves, even when it goes against the norm.
The Bible does not use the phrase, “stand tall” but encourages people to stand firm in the face of adversity and stand strong to their faith. They encourage embracing one’s individuality, facing challenges with courage, and not letting setbacks diminish one’s spirit.
This is what a leader should be, a person of character, and a person who treats humanity as a person no matter what their race, political affiliation, gender, and the amount of money or materials they may have or not have.
My intention to write this article and inform you about the energy of the day took a turn when informed of the sad news of President Biden’s announcement. And then the horrendous comments came.
When I was young I was known as always smiling, a cute smile as they said, but not a voice. I was too shy to speak out about how I felt. But my elder self, told my child self, it is time to use your voice.
What has happened to our humanity, the compassion, and the respect for others?
Take all the words above and this is how a person represents standing tall - and how I see President Biden. Yes, you may have not agreed with him on certain items, but when do we agree with everyone? And when do we say hateful things to a person who has been through many challenges and has faith and love for humanity?
And who else stands tall? All the people who have a heart, who drop their differences and show compassion.
And what is the opposite of standing tall: stoop, bow, cowardly, timid, weak, yielding, afraid, fearful.
I do not have to tell you who is in this category. Most of us with a true heart, compassion, humanity, and love for our Democracy and America know the people who fit in this world. The world I hope many will eventually wake up, and show the love, come together as we did during other chaos and crisis in history. To stand tall with confidence and be proud of community, family and our ancestors.
Today is your day, President Biden:
Aj – the light and clarity brought to humanity. We stand by you and continue to stand by you.
Thank you, Pamela! I love Joe Biden! He is a decent and committed lifelong public servant with compassion and love for people; no matter their political views. I think he has the stamina to heal from this setback. My husband had a prostatectomy and is doing well after 6 years. I pray for Joe and know he has a supportive family and medical team. He will stand tall through this adversity and rise above it.
